Emma Conway, M.S.
Emma grew up on an acreage in south central Iowa and went to Iowa State University where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She decided to continue on to a graduate program at ISU and earn her Master’s degree in Ruminant Nutrition. Her research emphasis focused on trace mineral supplementation on growth processes in conventional and naturally raised feedlot cattle. Emma and her husband live on his family farm in Melrose, Iowa where they raise Angus and Sim-Angus cross cattle, run a heifer development program, raise some row crops, and a run large hay operation. Emma joined the Great Plains Livestock Consulting, Inc. team in 2018. Emma enjoys getting to work with clients to help them increase efficiencies in all sectors of the beef industry.
