Amy McLaughlin, M.S.

Amy grew up in northcentral Missouri working with her grandfather on his backgrounding operation where she developed a passion for the cattle industry. She earned her BAS from Northwest Missouri State University in 2021. Amy went on to earn her Master’s in Animal Science from Iowa State University with an emphasis in feedlot nutrition in 2023. She joined GPLC in 2025 and currently resides in Knoxville, IA with her fiancé, Colton, where they plan to start their own cow/calf operation. Amy enjoys interacting with producers and aiding in making informed decisions to increase productivity and profitability.
