Levi McPhillips

Dr. Levi McPhillips is a native of northwest Nebraska. Growing up on a cow/calf, feedyard, hog finishing, and row crop operation, he developed a desire at an early age to one day work in agriculture, specifically the beef industry. Levi received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2015, he then went on to get his Master’s degree from Oklahoma State University in 2018. From there Levi came back to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to get his Ph.D. in Ruminant Nutrition in December of 2021. During his time in graduate school he managed the research feedyards for Oklahoma State University and University of Nebraska-Lincoln. All of these experiences helped mold his consulting focus and techniques. Levi involves himself in many parts of his client’s operation by helping train and recruit employees, plan day-to-day logistics, and be a coach in every part of the operation, not just nutrition. When Levi is not traveling around to see his clients, he, his wife Katie, and their four beautiful children enjoy spending time with family, hunting, fishing, sports, and whatever else they can get into around the house.
