Remy Wyatt, Ph.D.
Remy Wyatt is a Texas native with a beef cattle background, growing up on purebred Limousin ranches in both Texas and Kentucky. Being involved in the Cow-Calf sector and the heifer industry gave Remy the passion and drive for knowledge of the beef industry, leading to her degree in animal science from West Texas A & M University, where she developed a love for meat science. While at WT she was an employee of the Beef Carcass Research Center and was able to travel the country collecting and compiling carcass data for large feedlot research projects. Following graduation her love of meat science led her to Texas Tech University, where she completed her Master’s in meat science in 2016. Rounding out her collegiate career, Remy completed her doctorate degree at Iowa State University in ruminant nutrition with an emphasis on trace minerals and growth technologies. She is interested in beef cattle, meat science, and precision nutrition, with a large focus on improving efficiency and growth of the beef industry. Remy’s goal in consulting is to be aware of each client’s individual needs, solve problems, help clients achieve their production goals, and develop life-long relationships with those in the cattle industry. Currently she resides in Olney, TX with her husband. When Remy is not travelling you can usually find her reading or spending time with her family.
