Zeb Prawl, M.S.

Zeb grew up in southwest Kansas, in the heart of feedyard country.  He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Ag-Business in 1996 from Northwestern Oklahoma State University, followed by a Master’s Degree in Ruminant Nutrition from Oklahoma State University. Since then, he has been involved in almost every facet of the commercial feed and livestock industries.  He has worked in specialty feed product and ingredient sales and support, as a nutritionist for major feed companies, and as an independent nutritionist, including time with Great Plains Livestock Consulting from 2010 to 2017. He rejoined the GPLC team in 2023 and is excited about getting to work with backgrounders, stocker cattle operators, cow/calf operations, feedlots, and feedmills where he can help teach new and practical ways to feed cattle, improve operation efficiencies and maximize successes.  Zeb, his wife Melissia, and their family have spent most of their lives in Oklahoma and Kansas but moved to Texas in 2021, where they continue to thrive and look for new opportunities to contribute to the animal agriculture business.
